What do I need to know about Game Days?
Game Days:
- Wear designated Cheer Spirit Shirt and Bow;
- After school, girls are to report to the designated area where they will eat dinner and work on homework;
- Food may be dropped off for girls to eat after school, or they may bring it with them to school;
- Please remember that the girls will be outside in the heat for quite some time so please provide something healthy
NO SODAS;
- Girls will change into uniforms before eating and doing homework;
- Remember cheer shoes are ALWAYS considered part of the uniform;
- Water is important! Don't forget it on Game Days!!!!!
- After the third quarter of the second game, Coach will send a message on SportsYou and cheerleader will text that we are almost done and ready for pick up.
- Girls are NOT to leave until dismissed by a coach.
-Girls will pick up after themselves before we leave any event.
***If a cheerleader does not attend Monday practice (or whichever day we practice that week), they are not eligible to CHEER for that week's game.

Practices will be held (at a minimum) on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM.
Monday practices are MANDATORY in order to cheer for the game that week.
What are the requirements to try out to be a cheerleader at Forte Jr High?
1. Parent/ Guardian and cheer candidate must have attended the MANDATORY parent meeting
2. Turn in all required paper work BEFORE the DEADLINE
3. Attend all MANDATORY try out practices
4. Complete the Try Out process
5. Pay all Camp/Clinic Fees and Cheer Dues

As a cheerleader the word “leadership” takes on a whole new meaning. On the sidelines, in the classroom and in the community, leadership is a vital component of your role. As an athlete in the public eye, you must represent your school to the best of your ability. Please refer to the constitution link to answer any further questions.
